Daniel Schnurr leitet seit April 2017 die Forschungsgruppe Data Policies an der Universität Passau. Er promovierte 2016 im Bereich Wirtschaftschaftsinformatik (Information Systems) am Karlsruher Institut für Technologie, wo er drei Jahre als wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter am Institut für Informationswirtschaft und Marketing (IISM) gearbeitet hat. Von 2007 bis 2013, studierte  Dr. Daniel Schnurr Informationswirtschaft (B.Sc. & M.Sc.) am Karlsruher Institut für Technologie. Er war Gaststudent an der John Molson School of Business, Concordia University (Kanada) und der Singapore Management University (Singapur).
