Prof. Krämer gave an interview to the Dutch newspaper 'Het Financieele Dagblatt' on the topic of “Regulating advertising giant Google is not enough”, which was published on 3 June 2025: 'The advertising market is the key to combating tech giant Google, says Jan Krämer, Professor of Business Informatics with a focus on Internet and Telecommunications Economics at the University of Passau in Germany. The dominance of Google that he points out can be felt in all parts of the market. Krämer welcomes the European Parliament's idea of forcing the tech giant to split up parts of its business. In his opinion, regulation alone is not enough. ‘Something has to be broken up.’
