Guest Visit of PhD Georgios Petropoulos (MIT and Standford University, USA)

The Chair of Internet and Telecommunications Business welcomed Georgios Petropoulos PhD as a guest researcher in May 2022. He visited on the occasion of joint research projects on the topic of Economics of AI and gave a lecture entitled "Frontier Technologies and Labor Markets: Evidence from Europe" on 31/05/22. Georgios Petropoulos is a researcher at the MIT Initiative on the Digital Economy, MIT Sloan School of Management (USA) and he is a Digital Fellow at the Digital Economy Lab at Standford University (USA). His research focuses on digital platforms, competition policy and the implications of new technologies for labour markets.
