Distinguished keynote lecture series on ‘Digital Platform Ecosystems’

| Reading time: 1 min.

A key phenomenon of the digital economy is the emergence of digital platforms such as Facebook, Google, Amazon and the ecosystems that surround them. What impact do these ecosystems have on the economy and society at large? Leading international scholars from the disciplines of information systems research, management and innovation, marketing, economics and science communication will address this question in the digital English-language lecture series ‘Digital Platform Ecosystems (DPE)’ jointly hosted by Professors Jan Krämer and Andreas König with colleagues from the Faculty of Business, Economics and Information Systems and the Faculty of Arts and Humanities of the University of Passau. The series will kick off on Thursday, 29 April at 4:15 p.m. with Professor Robert Gregory’s (University of Virginia) keynote lecture on ‘Algorithmic management of work on online labor platforms: When matching meets control.’ Please register via Zoom Webinar.
