Every year, the German Federal Cartel Office organizes an „Antitrust Workshop" where current developments in competition law are discussed together with experts. This year, the conference will take place on October 7 and Professor Krämer has been invited as an expert for a panel discussion on the "Digital Markets Act" (DMA). The DMA is a European legislative proposal to regulate dominant online platforms, including imposing data access obligations. The DMA is currently being negotiated in the European Parliament and - once it comes into force - will have far-reaching implications for competition in digital markets.
