Prof. Krämer will give a talk on "Economic Regulation of Digital Markets: Prospects and Pitfalls" at the 11th Heinz Nixdorf Symposium "On-The-Fly Computing" of the Heinz Nixdorf Institute, University of Paderborn on Sept. 15, 2022.
The Heinz Nixdorf Institute is an Interdisciplinary Research Centre for Computer Science and Technology within the University of Paderborn. It was founded in 1987 initiated and supported by the computer pioneer Heinz Nixdorf. By doing so he wanted to create a symbiosis of computer science and engineering in order to provide critical impetus for new products and services. Today nine Professors and 200 researchers work at the Heinz Nixdorf Institute and per year approximately 30 young researchers receive a doctorate.
The Heinz Nixdorf Symposium is an established biennial event of the Heinz Nixdorf Institute during which researchers and practitioners come together to present challenges from industry, discuss contributions from research institutions and develop novel solution approaches.
