Prof. Dr. Jan Krämer and Janina Hofmann have started their research within the framework of the project "Platform neutrality and data-driven business models: data in return for a prominent placement of providers on online platforms", which is funded by the German Research Foundation (DFG). The DFG project is concerned with how paying with data changes the balance of power in digital ecosystems. Janina Hofmann is the new researcher who will be doing her doctorate on the subject as part of the project. Prof. Marc Bourreau (Telecom Paris) is also involved in the project. The Digital Research Magazine of the University of Passau has just published a report and a video interview with Prof. Dr. Jan Krämer and doctoral student Janina Hofmann entitled "Designing competition in digital markets".
